MONÉT – “WANNA KNOW”

Hailing from South London’s cultural hotspot Peckham, Monét has innovation flowing through their artistry. She graduated with a degree in journalism last year, and has since immersed herself into the thriving local scene, working with trailblazing rapper Zino Vinci on “Apple Bottom Jeans”, and appearing in videos from artists like Jim Legxacy and Miles from Kinshasa.

Back from a brief hiatus after finishing her degree, Monét sounds better than ever on her latest rich and vibrant single, “Wanna Know”. Produced by JSTRNGS, the cut oozes with emotional resonance and reflective insight, with the singer-songwriter tackles familiar topics of love and relationships in her signature spoken word cadence. The track is augmented by an engrossing video from JJ Foster, with Monét mirroring the lyrical feeling in her on screen presence.
